New A/C AC Compressor Kit. 2008 2009 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer L4 2.0L ONLY Non turbo Models. This vehicle comes with two different types of compressors please compare picture with your actual compressor before purchasing. Compressor: This compresses and circulates the refrigerant in the system. Condenser: This changes the phase of the refrigerant from gas to liquid and expels heat removed from the freon. Expansion valve (or orifice tube in some vehicles): This device is somewhat of a nozzle and functions to simultaneously drop the pressure of the refrigerant liquid, meter its flow, and atomize it. Receiver-Dryer or Accumulator: This functions as a filter for the refrigerant/oil, removing moisture and other contaminants. New Drier (Installed in Condenser). Santech O-Ring Seal Kit. Santech Caps & Valves Kit. Note : If your old ac compressor locked, seized or failed internally than the ac condenser will need to be replace to ensure a contamination free system. COMPRESSOR MSC90CAS PV6 12V. MUST clean A/C system with an approved (R141b and Dura Flush are approved) flush, using an approved flushing method. MUST replace filter drier or accumulator. MUST replace orifice tube or liquid line that contains orifice tube (if applicable). Inspect/replace thermostatic expansion valve & clean inlet screen (if applicable). Check for proper air flow through cooling fins of condenser & radiator (condenser MUST be replaced if your vehicle has a parallel flow condenser and contamination is present in the system). Check for proper fan clutch or electric fan operation. Must add correct type & amount of refrigerant oil (refer to OEM or compressor manufacturers specifications). If condenser has the drier attached then the condenser must be changed to satisfy the proper installation requirements. Its good practice to pour the oil out of the compressor and add the correct amount of oil to your vehicle specification.
